We found the puppy class to be a great start for us with our new puppy Riley, a black lab. The Better Animal Behavior Clinic technique, tips and emphasis on consistency helped us to see the bigger picture of what we want our dog's behavior to be like.  The classes were invaluable to us and we would recommend it to anyone that wants a well behaved dog. We learned how to incorporate training into our everyday life with our dog, during playtime, at meal times & anytime that you are interacting with our dog. I would recommend this class because I see that it is important to have the skills to train your puppy.  Before I attended the classes my puppy was uncontrollable and unsociable.  Now that we have completed this class, my puppy has shown great improvement.  It takes time and patients but it is well worth it.  Most important, I feel I have learned not only the skills but the common mistakes that are used in training.  I have learned to recognize the mistakes and correct them.  Thank you for having us in your class.

Who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks? We have had 7 dogs over the 29 years but we still learned several new valuable techniques from your classes. Some concepts were a refresher, some were new approaches and we also learned how to eliminate unwanted "problem" behaviors. We just want to thank you for training both our golden retriever, Pansy, and both of us.  Pansy loved the training sessions.  She bonded with you immediately; I think probably because of your firmness and gentleness.  She seemed to know that you were in charge and she wanted to do what you wanted her to do.
Walt and I have more trouble unlearning some of our bad habits, but Pansy is now responding to us.  And what I particularly like is that Pansy loves obeying the commands--she is so proud of herself!
